Although it is primarily available for short-term rental, the owners occasionally allow longer term rentals of this cottage at Serenbe. Need an escape from your day-to-day? Or a beautiful change to the location of your home office? Come stay at our cottage in the Serenbe wellness community, 30 minutes south of the Atlanta airport. We welcome check-in at noon for direct booking guests so you can enjoy a full first day at the cottage. Check out is 2:00 pm, a later time than almost any hotel or AirBNB. If we do not have guests coming in, we might be able to offer even later check out times.

You’ll have private use of a two-story, two bedroom, two bathroom cottage, stocked with books and board games, steps away from wooded trails in one direction and Halsa restaurant and Bamboo Juice shop in the other. Mad Violette is also a two minute walk to the Spa at Serenbe and the Serenbe Yoga Studio
The lower level offers a large, well-stocked book case, two loveseats, a comfy chair for reading or watching television, and a SmartTV. The kitchen island provides space for up to four to eat together. At the back of the lower level is the first bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a small desk, for reflective writing or a bit of work.
Out the sliding glass doors on the lower level you’ll find our private side courtyard garden area, perfect for drinks or a snack. Seating for four on the front porch allows you to have your morning coffee or tea and watch the walkers stroll by. We have one bike available for your use, and more can be rented at the bike shop, a short walk from the cottage.
A few turns up the stairs leads to the second level, with a large master bathroom with separate toilet, and the master bedroom. A smaller SmartTV and a desk for work or reflection, and another comfy chair and stocked bookcase complete our set-up. Note that we have also added an HP wireless printer, in case you are working.
The loft area is connected to the master bedroom without a door, and is a larger, open space. Our loft area provides extra sleeping space with a day bed. The day bed is stacked with two single sized mattresses. The day bed can be pulled out and the single mattresses spread out to make a king-sized sleeping space. This room also has an extra futon stored in the corner. Looking at all of the sleeping space in the house, it is suitable for 2 people sharing the queen bed downstairs, two sharing the queen sized bed upstairs, and two smaller children on the day bed mattresses and futon. The cottage is most comfortable, though, for a maximum of four people.
Come without anything to read and discover something new. Do a wellness reset with a Bamboo juice fast and hikes. Practice some yoga. Reconnect over board games. Escape for a quiet work retreat. We think you’ll love it here!
Golf cart rental is available for $60 per day from Serenbe Golf Carts. Serenbe is completely walkable, but a golf cart can be a fun way to explore. Please be sure to reserve in advance, as they do sell out.
NOTES: Updated 05/23/2023: There is some construction near the cottage in the Mado Hamlet of Serenbe as they build new live/work units. Construction may run until 7 pm during the week, and from 9-5 Saturday. Sundays are quiet.
This house is best for pre-toddler babies and older kids, curved wood stairway (uncarpeted) makes it not good for toddlers. If you need a one day rental, please contact us to request for an additional cleaning fee.
